By accessing or using the services provided by Lost in Film, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services

Lost in Film provides professional videography and film production services, including but not limited to feature films, branded content, advertising, music videos, and event coverage. All services are subject to availability and agreed scope of work.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The amount will be specified in your project proposal or invoice.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion or as agreed in your contract.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or any method stated on the invoice.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of [e.g., 5%] per month.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date subject to availability.

  • If a cancellation is made less than [e.g., 7 days] before the shoot, additional charges may apply.

4. Creative Control

By engaging Lost in Film, you acknowledge that you are hiring us for our creative expertise and style. While we welcome collaboration, final creative decisions (including but not limited to editing, music, pacing, and visual effects) remain at the discretion of Lost in Film unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Use of Footage

  • Lost in Film retains the right to use footage from any project for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, portfolio, and social media channels.

  • If you require confidentiality or restricted usage, please let us know prior to the project and we will provide a custom agreement.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all necessary materials, access, and approvals in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that all required permissions or permits for filming are obtained prior to the scheduled shoot.

  • Maintain a safe working environment for the crew.

7. Revisions

Each project includes [e.g., 1–2] rounds of reasonable revisions as outlined in your agreement. Additional changes outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lost in Film is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. In any case, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by the client for the services rendered.

9. Copyright

All footage and edited material remain the property of Lost in Film until full payment is received. Upon full payment, usage rights are granted as per your agreement. Full copyright transfers must be arranged separately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
